I am a seasoned product strategy and development executive with a notable career spanning various high-tech sectors, featuring key positions at Informatica and Microsoft.
I started my software product career at Zoomit as Director of Product Management, where I helped pioneer a market-leading metadirectory product. Following Zoomit’s acquisition by Microsoft, I served as a Senior Program Manager in the Windows Server Division. From 2004 to 2007, I was a Director of Product Management at Systinet/Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where I led the company’s pivot to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Governance. This period was marked by the successful launch of a first-to-market SOA Governance product and leading the integration of Systinet’s products into HP’s offerings following its acquisition.
Continuing this trajectory, I was Vice President of Product at Active Endpoints from 2007 to 2013, where I directed the company’s transition from an open-source to a licensed product model and initiated a thriving SaaS service, culminating in the company’s acquisition by Informatica.
From 2013 to 2021, as the Head of Product at Informatica in Redwood City, CA, I led the development of Cloud Application Integration services, establishing Informatica as a leading iPaaS vendor recognized by Gartner for four consecutive years. My efforts significantly boosted Informatica’s market presence and revenues, capturing a substantial share of the company’s annual recurring revenue.
I also contributed to global web services standards as the Managing Director and Co-chair at OASIS Open & UDDI.org from 2001 to 2010, where I played a pivotal role in the governance and development of the Internet standards alongside major tech companies.
Most recently, from 2021 to 2023, I was engaged as an Independent Consultant for various vendors. My roles included product strategy for a video platform and an event-integration platform, where I enhanced product features and market positioning through innovative AI-driven tools and strategic analysis.
I hold a Master of Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada.
